Don’t Wander Off The Strip

Wherever you go, make sure you don’t wander off the Las Vegas Strip for your safety. The strip may be well-lit, covered by cameras, and properly patrolled by police on bikes and horseback, but the side streets are not and can be dangerous, especially for tourists. Places to avoid include the section north of the Encore resort as well as the west side of Vegas such as the Las Vegas Valley, and Berkeley Square, among others, where gang violence has been reported.
